چکیده
1 MercureO2 system MercureO2 is an object oriented information retrieval system based on connectionist approach. It allows the query formulation, the query evaluation based on propagation of the neuron activation and the query modiication based on backpropagation of the user judgements of the document relevance. 1.1 The model The neural information model used in MercureO2 is shown in gure 1. It represents a set of associated neurons. We distinguish in this model :-neuron objects-an input layer representing the user information needs-a term neurons layer-a document neurons layer-an output layer representing the result of the query evaluation-weighted links between the neurons. The MercureO2 neuron object is characterized by : identiier, input value, output value, output threshold value, methods allowing to compute the input values and output signals, to propagate the signal, to backpropagate the signal,... The functions of this neuron are :-Input function : In(N i) = P j=1 Out(N j) w ji-Activation (or state) of the neuron at (k+1)stage is :

Locally-Constructed Trees for Adhoc Routing
We present a family of self-stabilizing distributed algorithms to built a spanning tree on the underlaying communications graph of an adhoc wireless network. Next, based on this principle, we show how to construct two overlaying trees which are suitable for routing tasks.
متن کاملA Review of Load Balanced Routing Protocols in Mobile Adhoc Networks
A wireless Mobile Adhoc NETwork (MANET) is an infrastructure-less mobile network which is based on radio to radio multi-hoping and has no centralized controller or a fixed router. All nodes are capable of movement and can be connected dynamically in an arbitrary manner. Due to the dynamic nature of network topology, frequent mobility, bandwidth limitation, limited battery power, routing in MANE...
متن کاملLatent Semantic Indexing (LSI): TREC-3 Report
We used LSI for both TREC-3 routing and adhoc tasks. For the routing tasks an LSI space was constructed using the training documents. We compared profiles constructed using just the topic words (no training) with profiles constructed using the average of relevant documents (no use of the topic words). Not surprisingly, the centroid of the relevant documents was 30% better than the topic words. ...
متن کاملAn Effective Method for Load Balancing in MANET
A mobile ad hoc network (MANET) is a collection of wireless mobile hosts forming a temporary network without the aid of any stand-alone infrastructure or centralized administration. Mobile Ad-hoc networks are self organizing and self-configuring multichip wireless networks where, the structure of the network changes dynamically. A routing protocol in MANET should fairly distribute the routing t...
متن کاملEnergy Aware Adhoc On-demand Multipath Distance Vector Protocol for QoS Routing
Mobile Adhoc Networks (MANETs) are infrastructure-less, dynamic network of collections of wireless mobile nodes communicating with each other without any centralized authority. A MANET is a mobile device of interconnections through wireless links, forming a dynamic topology. Routing protocols have a big role in data transmission across a network. Routing protocols, two major classifications are...
